We tailor-make and book golf packages for small or larger groups. No matter if your group consists of a 2-ball that wants a "taste" of Golf-Åland, or a group of important customers
that are offered a golfing event out of the ordinary, we oblige with an optimal Åland package.

We offer the course package "Green Card on Åland" to those who want to spend some vacation days getting into the wonderful world of golf!

Golf course package "Green Card on Åland" including ferry voyage Turku-Mariehamn-Turku, hotel accommodation Monday-Friday and five days golf training at the Ålands Golfclub in Kastelhom;

Monday (any Monday during the golfing season 2010).
08.00 Check-in at Vikingterminalen (travellers with a car at the car check-in) in Turku.
08.45 Voyage, Turku - Mariehamn with Viking Line's m/s Amorella.
14.10 Arrival at Vikingterminalen in Mariehamn, Västerhamn.
14.20 Arrival at and check-in at Hotell Arkipelag Åland's best hotel, in a class of its own
         on the eastern side of Mariehamn in the town centre - or at the smaller, more 
         familiar Hotell Pommern in the centre of Mariehamn.
16.00 Meeting at the Åland Golf Club www.agk.ax in Kastelholm (ca. 23 km, 20 min.
         drive from the hotels) where headpro Chris Waldron and/or assistant pro Niklas
         Rajamäki takes care of the new "students".
16.30 First training lesson at the ÅGK range (until 18.30 - when you will get the exact
         time schedule for the next day).
         Accommodation in double or single rooms at Hotell Arkipelag (where all the
         rooms are with private balcony) or at Hotell Pommern.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
07.00 Breakfast (served daily at 07-10.00) in the hotel's restaurant.
10.00 Training lessons 2, 3 & 4 at the ÅGK drivingrange, practice bunker & greens.
12.00 Lunch break (we recommend ÅGC's own popular restaurant).
13.00 Exercises/practising on your own (at ÅGK practising areas).
Evening: Theory- & regulation studies (on your own according to the instructors' directions).
         Accommodation night 2, 3 & 4.

Friday.
07.00 Breakfast (served at 07-10.00) in the hotel's restaurant.
10.00 Final practising round and optional test for the "green card".
13.55 Check-in at Vikingterminalen in Mariehamn, Västerhamn.
14.25 Return voyage, Mariehamn - Turku with Viking Line's m/s Isabella. 
         Opportunity for tax-free shopping in the ferry's shops.
19.50 Arrival at the  Viking Line ferryterminal in Turku.

The golf course/education does not require any prior knowledge of experience of golf
and you don´t need to bring your own equipment - the clubs, balls and theory materials that are needed can be borrowed from the instructors.

 Expected from the participants are:
- Normal physical & mental prerequisites to be able to assimilate the education,
- engagement and a will to follow and act in accordance to the education that the instructor
  give and
- suitable clothes & shoes (regular leisure clothes and sport shoes are fine).

Considering the drive between the hotels in Mariehamn and ÅGK in Kastelholm (about 23 km, 20 minute driving time) we recommend that you take your own car to Åland - it is practical and it is more affordable than using a taxi during your Åland stay.

Additional fare for one car (which is booked at the same time as the golf package) onboard the ferry to/from Åland, is Eur 38,00 (Eur 70,00 during the period of 18.6-22.8).

For those who on the final day wish to play for a green card (book directly to ÅGK's course instructor), there is an additional fee of EUR 50,00 which is paid directly to the ÅGK`s pro shop.
